get the lowdown in a flash!
What was the problem?
The existing app required a visual overhaul to enhance hierarchy and incorporate new features. As competitors faced issues with personalization, fragmented resources, and real-time feedback, players and coaches sought a data-driven solution to boost performance. The goal was to design a product that addresses these deficiencies and enhances the cricket coaching experience.
What did I do?
Through in-depth behavioral research on cricket players, coaches, and existing apps (conducted with a fellow designer at Hucentric), I crafted a service blueprint to map the user flow and designed a comprehensive system for the app's visual identity. This facilitated the redesign and development of new features within a cohesive and user-centered framework.
What impact did it have?
Led to quantifiable improvement in player engagement and brand image, as evidenced by internal metrics.
What did I learn?
Despite not being a cricket fan, I relished immersing myself in the sport and its nuances. Equally rewarding was uncovering the design challenges and opportunities of integrating AI and other analytics.
